We had a great experience booking through Fickling. There was an issue with the house and we emailed them late that first night. They immediately called us first thing the next morning and had a beyond satisfactory resolution. When the time came to sell my mother’s house, I needed a real estate agent, a lot of help with getting the house ready for sale, and with making sure things were OK with a vacant house so far away (I live 350 miles from Macon). Beth Hickman was my real estate agent for a purchase in Gray Georgia. I was in Gray in June for a short time and she was flexible with her schedule and was able to show me several houses. Beth was very professional and prepared with information when we had an appointment to see a house. When there was a neighborhood I liked but no houses for sale she mailed the neighborhood to see if anyone was interested in selling. I have never seen an agent do this for me before - she really wanted me to find what I wanted. She has a nice caring personality. When I found my favorite, she helped the sale go through in so many ways. She helped me find the best home inspector. The house needed a good bit of work - having that good inspection report saved me $8K at closing. Before that she helped advise me on the sales contract and pricing. Also, after getting the contract finalized, I had to get home insurance. Because the house needs some rotten wood removed, my normal home insurance company would not insure the house. She was able to find an insurance company that would write a policy - otherwise closing would not have happened. Also, I am currently living in Europe so she has been available as needed with the 6 hour time difference - sometimes working with me on weekends or earlier than normal. I am so glad Beth was my agent!

We had a great experience selling our home in River North with Kimbrough Donner. Excellent service, and fantastic communication! This was my first time renting from Fickling on SGI, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Booking was simple, and the directions and information provided made me feel very comfortable upon arrival. Some of the paperwork needed ahead of time seemed like a little overkill, but it was easy and just had to be completed and returned electronically. DocuSign could have made it slightly easier. Overall, no complaints. The property was also very well maintained. I had to call maintenance after hours because of a chirping smoke detector and someone came out right away and took care of it. Loved our stay. Will definitely be back.

We had a very good experience with Fickling. This is roughly our 20th-25th trip to St George Island and we always rent a house. It seems to me like fewer houses are now managed by full-time rental agencies, but I would certainly prefer to work with such an agency. It's just so very easy. All the paperwork was ready when we arrived. When we had a question, we got it immediately answered. Plus, if something goes wrong, the agency is in a much better position to help you fix it. Highly recommend Fickling. Also, we loved the property we stayed at. We stayed there once before when it had different owners and a different name, but the renovations are top-notch.

These folks have incredible customer service!! They’ve always gone beyond the norm to accommodate our needs and requests. As an example, the beach house we’ve rented for the past several years changed owners, and didn’t provide the usual beach towels we’d previously enjoyed, so Fickling delivered several new towels in a soft sided cooler we could keep just a short time after a phone call to them. They’ve worked with us on changing/adding rental dates, rates and available discounts, and modifying payment plans to accommodate our needs. Thank you Fickling for being so wonderful!!

Fickling & Ccmpany were wonderful to work with. Everything was handled in a timely manner. The unit we rented (300 Ocean Mile C-6) was adequate . It was advertised as sleeps 6, however the twin beds were very uncomfortable for adults - might be better to be advertised as 4 adults and 2 children. Also a mirror in bedroom on first floor would have been nice and another towel rack in first floor bathroom. The bathroom off of twin bedroom did not have anywhere to put your soap or shampoo while showering. Overall it was fine but could use a few things to make it more comfortable. We loved the area and closeness to the state park. Will definitely return but stay in a different place.

What we loved: This place was spotless and had everything you could possibly want available to you, from beach gear to cooking gear. Most of the mattresses were unbelievably comfortable. There is a DVD player with about 100 DVD's available to you. Gave us a great excuse to show off our favorite movies when we were younger to our kids. Views were fantastic. For a family with pups, we LOVED the fenced in yard. Cannot express enough how that impacted our vacation. There is only one thing were were longing for. More couch space for us to spread out on. There were two loveseats in front of the TV and it made for an intimate setting (when sometimes you just need a little space).

Perfect place. Well stocked. Pet friendly. Great location. Very clean.

Jackie hicks is excellent! I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone. The house was sold quickly for a great price. She is very easy to work with and very good at explaining the process. she was also very patient, I commend her as I know I am not the easiest person to work with.

It seemed like Miss Emily had 100 different listings she was working on, but somehow always found the time to make mine first priority. Someone was living in the house until closing. I had to schedule times to go look inside the house and it was always taken care of within 15 minutes. Extremely fast and knowledgeable.
